Abstract


As the development and popularization of computer network technology,online shopping based on Computer has been widely favored. In the future apparel e-commerce, non-contact body measurement technology will been applied in shopping for dressing fit. At present, non-contact measurement device in domestic and foreign generally is expensive, complicated to install, occupies a large space and needs darkroom operation. For these reasons, studying two-dimensional non-contact measuring system for Chinese garment industry has a high practical value.The main research work is presented as follow:1.Young men were selected as subjects. The measures on bodily form were obtained by using photogrammetry, traditional manual ways and non-contact automatic methods.2.Through MATLAB programming, automatically extracting the data of shoulder slope angle, body lateral angle, hip bulge angle and back enter angle,and Young males were classified to some groups based on these angle values.3.The feature points on the silhouettes were determined based on the characters of bodily form and computer graphics. Then, bodyheight, neck width, shoulder width, neck thickness, back width, chest width, chest thickness waist width, waist thickness, belt width, belt thickness, hip width, hip thickness, thigh width, thigh thickness, knee width, knee thickness, calf width, calf thickness, arm length, shoulder slope angle, body lateral angle, hip bulge angle, back enter angle and dorsal angle were obtained.4. A regression model was constructed through regression analysis in which the girth value was a dependent variable and the thick and width values were independent variables.5.The system uses windows XP operating system, Access2003 as the background database, VB6.0 as a front development tools to build a two-dimensional non-contact measurement system. It realized the non-contact measurement of the human body based on digital photographs, and measurement results can be stored in the database.
