We found this detection method of venous thromboembolism (venous thromboembolism, VTE) has high sensitivity and negative predictive value of D- dimer levels in the blood of patients with bone injury analysis . The occurrence of VTE in patients with blood D - dimer were positive , does not occur when bone injury patients blood D- dimer negative VTE or very low probability of VTE . The the experiments detect bone damage in the blood of patients with D-dimer dynamic process , so as to explore the relevance and impact of D- dimer levels of D- dimer with VTE factors . The results show : D-dimer after 48 hours of bone injury continued positive diagnosis of VTE ; D - dimer for VTE has a negative predictive value of 100% after 48 hours ; 48 hours after the injury within , because of the high false positive rate of D-dimer , during which time the diagnosis of VTE is not meaningful ; level of D - dimer levels and inversely proportional to the time proportional to the age ; caused by trauma and surgery D- no statistically significant difference in the change of the dimer levels and the incidence of VTE . D - dimer measurement method can be applied to forensic science pulmonary thromboembolism lead to sudden death test , to help carry out scientific analysis to determine injury causality .
