Abstract


The beginning of this century China launched a vigorous reform of the basic education curriculum, abandon the past the only scores on the quick success of the educational model, the quality of education on the important agenda. Music lessons as an important part of the foundation courses, but also by the unprecedented attention to fully implement the new content, new forms, new ideas, new goals to the basic music education. Needless to say, the in this vigorous curriculum reform, the situation in rural areas and the city's situation is not the same. Its reform efforts and effects can not be compared with the city. Music as an important part of the implementation of quality education programs, the status of music education in rural areas is lagging behind in the city. Why is that? How to change this situation? Prompt awareness of these issues, the paper will examine the objects locked in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture in rural primary and secondary music education, I hope to Seeing show rural to a more comprehensive, objective investigation the basic situation of music education as much as possible to find some deep-rooted problems of the situation behind and put forward a number of constructive thinking and recommendations on the basis of scientific research. This topic first Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture Huayuan, Phoenix, Yongshun, Yongsan, Guzhang, Baojing, Luxi, Jishou counties (cities) through random sampling 30 rural primary and secondary object of the survey.
