Abstract


The reform and opening up promoted Chinese cities more than 30 years of sustained and rapid economic growth. However, Financial crisis happened in 2008, not only has seriously affected world economy, but also promotes a new round of world industrial structure adjustment and division of labor. Chinese cities face with the multiple pressures and bottleneck restrictions which included resource scarcity, environmental pollution and declining spatial supporting capacity. Therefore, exploring new ways and measures of upgrading the industrial structure, promoting economic restructuring and changing the mode of growth and development model is necessary.Suzhou is export-oriented economy, industrial restructuring is imminent.Industrial structure’s reforming of cities rely on Spatial structure’s adjustment. In 2010, The number of state-level development zone in Suzhou is added to 8, providing space for the industrial transformation. I take Suzhou as object of studying, providing reference for national cities.This article elaborates the backgrounds of home and abroad, the situation of Suzhou. It probes into the reasons of industrial restructuring, discusses the future development of industrial structure in Suzhou. according to industrial restructuring, it studies the way of the spatial restructuring of Suzhou. It analyzes the interaction of Industrial restructuring and reconstruction of spatial structure. At last, according to the problems of Industrial restructuring and reconstruction of spatial structure, it gives some advice on how to relove these problems.
