Abstract


With the rapid development of network technology, network management is becoming more and more important. The network intelligent configuration management has become a key issue for efficient network management and Web technologies mature and XML flourishing network management technologies and models bring another revolution. Therefore, the intelligent configuration management, Web technology for network management, and network management technology an ideal solution. This paper studies and proposes a configuration management system-level design-based network intelligence. Including its architecture, software architecture and module design, hierarchical division of the system is clear, reasonable, relatively independent, easy to implement and maintain it in a variety of heterogeneous devices (different types, different manufacturers, different periods of equipment), different between the pipe system to achieve a unified, centralized, coordinated configuration management. Network intelligent configuration management system based on the analysis of the basic theory of the network management, network management model, and SNMP protocols, combined with XML technology, a specific program and configuration management - Web-based network intelligence. In this paper, the intelligent Web-based network configuration management solutions, network management server is divided into the two parts of the front-end server and back-end server. Which user interface management front-end server receives user requests, and respond to user requests; backend server is responsible for the managed resource communication in order to obtain data information MIB browser, and on this basis, data acquisition, network topology module node discovery, event handling and data management functions. This division mechanisms to disperse the amount of the network management tasks to the multiple front-end server and back-end server, and for the large-scale network system, which can effectively improve the performance of their management. Meanwhile, between the front-end server and back-end server is relatively independent, when the scale of the network system increases, the network management system can be easily extended. The same time, introduced in network management, XML, XML data stream in the exchange of data between different functional modules, to save network management data using XML Enabled Database and XML documents, XML publishing network management information to facilitate interaction between system expansion and heterogeneous network management system. Finally, in the course of the study of the Intelligent Network Management system, combined with technologies such as XML and Web, some of the major functional blocks of the configuration management system, a Web-based network intelligence.
