Abstract


Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a TCP / IP network is currently the most widely used network management protocol . May 1990 , RFC 1157 defines the SNMP (simple network management protocol) version of the SNMPv1 . RFC 1157 , and another on the file management information in RFC 1155 , provides a way to monitor and manage computer network system . Therefore , SNMP has been widely used and become the de facto standard for network management . With the rapid development of network technology , the number of the network is also increasing. Network equipment from different manufacturers , and how to manage these devices becomes very important . The content of this article is to achieve the standard of management of these devices . SDK for developers of SNMP Agent software is now a lot, but with the rapid development of embedded systems , using SNMP embedded device management is imminent , the standard C language to implement SNMP in the positive sense and practicality .
