Abstract

Network performance analysis is a hot field of data communication , network simulation technology , networking equipment , link and protocol model , analog transmission of network traffic ; analysis in the implementation of certain protocols , network performance performance situation ; identify factors that affect network performance in the agreement , to further improve the protocol and improve performance. Important role in network performance analysis guidance and reference for the construction of the new network , upgrading the existing network , test new protocols , and network construction to reduce investment risk and shorten the development cycle of the new agreement . Thesis focuses on three random access protocols : ALOHA, CSMA and CSMA / CD application OPNET network simulation platform , the establishment of the three protocols of the network model, node model and process model simulation , network performance analysis , channel throughput a simulation result of the amount and utilization parameters , to examine the the constraints improve protocol performance factors . The first part is a general overview and clarify research significance ; second part is to introduce random access protocols , the focus is to introduce ALOHA , CSMA and CSMA / CD ; third section briefly describes the simulation tool , OPNET work environment , modeling hierarchy and modeling methods ; fourth part is the main work of this paper : ALOHA, CSMA and CSMA / CD channel throughput and utilization performance network simulation and compare obtained improvements conclusion , the last of the work done by summary.
