Abstract

Large span suspension bridge stiffness , low damping , very sensitive to the role of wind flutter stability is the controlling factor in its design and construction , large span suspension bridge static wind instability of wind speed may be lower than the critical flutter velocity its aerostatic stability can not be ignored . In this paper, the main cross- 3500m carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) main cable suspension bridge engineering background , for the aerostatic stability and flutter stability to carry out research and provides reference and basis for the wind-resistant design of large span suspension bridge . First, a review of the long-span bridges the aerostatic stability and flutter stability analysis method . Then , the use of the double iterative incremental internal and external state of the completed bridge the nonlinear static wind instability of the whole process of analysis and a detailed discussion of the non-linear , and the initial angle of attack , crossover cable and main beam section form on aerostatic stability , revealing a large span suspension bridge aerostatic instability mechanism . Finally , the state space of the bridge three-dimensional multi- modal coupling the flutter frequency domain analysis , comparing different flutter analysis method accuracy , a detailed discussion of the stiffening girder stiffness reduction , structural damping ratio parameters of the construction phase chatter vibration stability, and the flutter Stability role in improving the construction phase crossover cable .
