Abstract

Huangnipang station is a embedded excavated station on the NO.6 light rail transit line of Chongqing. Its dug width reaches 22m and dug height reaches 18.5m.The thickness of covered soil above the tunnel is only 20.5m,so Huangnipang station belongs to large span-superficial embedded tunnel. To research this tunnel is propitious to the design and construction of other similar tunnels in the future. The mechanical laws of core soil and support structure are got by simulating the construction process of Huangnipang LRT station tunnel. The material parameters of the analytical model are adjusted according to the monitoring survey data. The construction safety factor of Huangnipang station is also Figure ured out by the ansys model. Controlling measures of the key position are provided in the construction process. Meanwhile, some advice is put forward to get some better construction method, in order to improve construction efficiency. The maximum vertical displacement of support structure in Huangnipang embedded tunnel is located at the vault after the first excavation, which is 15.2mm; while the value of horizontal displacement is 1.36mm at the middle of tunnel sidewall, and that the maximum value of vertical displacement in core soil is 1.8mm. According to the excavation, numerical simulation adopts the double-side heading method, of which the heading is divided into three parts and the core soil into two parts. Based on the calculation results, the variation laws of stress and displacement in core soil are Figure ured out, and that the variations of stress and displacement in support structure are also obtained.According to the monitoring data in Huangnipang tunnel and the analysis of calculation results, the paper indicates the maximum permissible and alarming values of settlement in ground and vault, and that the safety factor is also concluded based on the support structure internal forces. The conclusions and results of insitu-monitoring data offer the significant reference to other similar projects. The indication of safety factor in Huangnipang embedded tunnel enriches the theoretical study on safety factor in tunnel construction, of which, meanwhile, the problem still needs a further study.
