Abstract

Along with the progress of national defense, and the rapid development of science and technology, technical requirements for navigation of the aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and so on are increasingly high. And inertial navigation technology with high precision, easy to conceal and good conditions adaptability, not only was widely used in military, but also had played an important role in civil aviation, aerospace, marine and other fields, which attracts world wide attention. As the main sensitive component of the inertial navigation system, the accelerometer directly influences the precision of the navigation system. The precision centrifuge as the main test equipment which calibrates the performance of the accelerometer in the overload condition, the theoretical analysis of the accuracy of its work is particularly important. In this paper, taking the research subject“Feasibility study on a 3.0m large radius precision centrifuge”of State Key Laboratory of Robotics and System (HIT) as the background, analyzes that whether the precision centrifuge can meet the technical requirements. The first expounds the research for the precision centrifuge at home and abroad, and then the factors which influences on the centrifuge acceleration accuracy are analyzed, and the error index is decomposed. The quantitative calculation of acceleration uncertainty is done by the finite element software ansys10.0, and then concludes the theoretical acceleration uncertainty values of the centrifuge which works in the range 0.2g to 30g without the unloading device. The above and below, left and right sides of the initial centrifuge mechanical structure are symmetrical, and then the centrifuge has a symmetrical structure stiffness. In the centrifugal force, the structure deforms linearly. Under the action of angle measuring components and capacitance micro-distance measuring devices which work as auxiliary equipments, the compensation of the dynamic radius and the misalignment angle is easy. When the centrifuge is without the unloading device, the acceleration uncertainty value caused by dynamic radius uncertainty is comparatively large. After installing the unloading device, the quantitative calculation of acceleration uncertainty is done again by the finite element software ansys10.0, and then further obtains the theoretical acceleration uncertainty values of the centrifuge which works in the range 0.2g to 30g with the unloading device.Comparing the two cases, the result demonstrates the feasibility of the centrifuge to the technical requirements. In this paper, the main research method is composed by the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation research. Based on the initial mechanical structure, the unloading device installed on the centrifuge improves the precision of the centrifuge which works in the range 0.2g to 30g. This paper provides a reference for the development of the mechanical structure of other large radius precision centrifuges, and it is also has certain significance for the centrifuge design.
