Abstract

Energy has become an essential human energy, protect the safe and stable operation of power systems is a major issue related to people's livelihood. Worldwide frequently appears damage caused by the grid security and stability of a wide range of power outages brought huge economic losses and catastrophic consequences has been the security and stability of power system research hotspot. In recent years, based on GPS technology PMU / WAMS (Phasor Measurement Unit / Wide Area Measurement System) system has been rapid development, greatly improving the observability of the system is very suitable for globally coordinated control of power systems. But by the impact of communication, WAMS significant delay system data from tens of milliseconds to hundreds of milliseconds range, so scientific assessment WAMS data delay on power system stability analysis and the impact of wide area controller design has important theoretical significance and practical value. In this thesis, the time lag WAMS data in the system conducted in-depth case studies, mainly conducted in the following areas: (1) According to the power system WAMS system data link delay characteristics established for containing Delays aspects of power system stability analysis TDAE (Time-delayed Differential Algebraic Equation) model, created by pure differential delay liberty matrix analysis method extended to TDAE power system model is constructed for stability analysis of Delay foundation. (2) gives an improved power system delay-dependent stability criterion, first through the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory column Lyapunov functional solution of the system, and in its derivative derivation process necessary to introduce some loose items: a side, avoiding the derivative derivation enlargement operation, the resulting criterion has a less conservative; the other hand, the right to freedom matrix with the previous methods, reducing the number of unnecessary loose term solution, so that the proposed method computational efficiency has been greatly improved. (3) gives an improved power system delay-dependent robust stability criterion. In the criteria derivation process, the use of this article to the delay-dependent stability criterion of the intermediate results, and using Schur complement to the system parameters uncertainties deformed to obtain multiple delays in case of robust stability criterion . The use of stand-alone systems and infinite WSCC-3 machine 9-bus and other systems on the given criteria were verified and analyzed excitation amplification factor of uncertainty for power system stability with time delay effect, numerical examples show that the given method can effectively evaluate aspects of the power system with Delay parameter uncertainty on the stability control performance of the adverse effects. (4) will be used herein to improve the delay-dependent stability criterion for delay feedback controller design power system is given memoryless state feedback controller and controller-based Wide Area Information Design. Numerical example shows that the method is not only able to effectively overcome the delay caused by the adverse effects of links, simultaneously with the existing methods, with smaller conservative. The WAN to the method of power system controller design has some help.
