Abstract


The safety valve is an important mechanical product on the basis of its very comprehensive use in national economy. It is one of the important security devices on boilers, pressure containers and head conduits. Whether the capability of safety valves is good or not is directly connected with the safety of equipments, production and personal. Nowadays, along with the development of market economy, the users have much more requirement for the quality, update speed and cycle time from design to the market because of the increasingly need of safety valves. In order to reduce test number of physical preproduction model and manufacturing cost, shorten design cycle time, strengthen enterprise competition power, the virtual design and working performance simulation analysis of safety valve in the computer are implement utilizing computer virtual design and simulation technology in this paper.Application study is the emphasis point of this subject. The feasibility and rationality of the structure of the manipulator will be foreseen and mastered. By the fact that massive domestic and foreign references was analyzed and arranged, combined with hands-site visits, the machanical theory and the machine design method has carried on the theoretical analysis to the safety valve. The technology and its supported software package COSMOS were used in the kinematics simulation of virtual preproduction model, Flow field simulation of safety valve and finite element analysis of critical component. Not only it can reduce the physical prototype’s trial manufacturing and expriment, but also it can make the movement relative position and intereference on the two-dimensional drawings, which are difficult to express and design become very visual and easy to revise. Firstly, it has obtained the opening pressure and reseating pressure of safety valve through the kinematics simulation. Secondly, it has analyzed the reason causing the vibration, noise and cavitation of the safety valve through valve road visual simulation of numerical. Meantime the theory displacement mathematical formula DLL of safety valve was work out by using secondary devolopment functions of Solidworks. Then it will be loaded to Solidworks to supply the theory displacement calculation of various experimental medium. Finally, The finite element intensity of valve clack was analyzed, and structural optimization design was made out under the condition that the requirement of the integrated intensity was satisfied.With the utilization of computer virtual design and simulation technology, while taking full advantage of CAE, massive redundancy waste products and half-finished products generated from miltiple physical tests will be avoided. This will greatly simplify the process of product design and development, reduce product development cycles, reduce the development cost and improve the product design quality.
