Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L) Cucurbitaceae , cucumber , is one of the larger area of cultivation of vegetable crops , originated in the sub-tropical , not only is very sensitive to low temperature , but not heat . High temperature stress and cold stress will have a serious impact on cucumber production , to stunted growth , yield and quality significantly decreased . But now , the study of cucumber are carried straight to reduce the temperature and stress or the helicopter high temperature stress study , to simulate the natural world , gradually reduce the temperature of coercion, or the gradual rise in the high temperature stress less impact studies on the growth of cucumber . This test is on the basis of previous studies , the cucumber seedling leaves material , straight lower temperature stress and helicopter high temperature stress control study simulate the natural conditions gradually reduce the temperature stress and the gradual rise in the high temperature stress on cucumber chloroplast membrane injury and the impact of physiological and biochemical indexes and low temperature stress and high temperature stress caused varying degrees of damage on cucumber seedlings compared to the following conclusions : either gradually reduce the temperature stress or the gradual rise in the high temperature stress will damage on cucumber seedlings , but with straight variable temperature stress compared to gradient temperature stress not only can relieve cucumber seedlings hurt the extent , hurt the index significantly with reducing , to protect the activities of SOD , POD and CAT activity significantly enhanced and with the temperature stress was first increased and then decreased the trend , and so the relative conductance significantly reduce the rate of malondialdehyde (MDA), proline content , superoxide anion production rate increase amplitude . The gradient temperature stress can reduce membrane system damage , and enhance the ability to withstand adversity stress . Can not only make the the cucumber seedlings chloroplast membrane Ca2-ATPase and Mg2-ATPase activity was significantly higher than the direct transition temperature stress , and membrane proteins and chlorophyll content was also significantly higher than the direct transition temperature stress . It can also reduce the temperature stress on the destruction of the chloroplasts of cucumber seedling leaves , to the chloroplast bending expansion deformation weakened , weakened the internal structure damage and reduce the damage of temperature stress on cucumber seedlings . Gradient temperature is the temperature change simulate the natural conditions , the experimental design is closer to the status of plant growth under variable temperature conditions . The results show that the gradient temperature treatment compared with straight transition temperature processing , low-impact on the physiological and biochemical indexes of cucumber seedlings and chloroplast membrane system .
