China's coal mining complex geological conditions, adverse operating environment, coal mine accidents have occurred, flexible cloth mesh existing wired monitoring system is difficult to achieve the purpose of real-time monitoring of the coal face. In addition there are many monitoring blind spots in the mines still can not meet the demand of coal mine safety monitoring, there is a big security risk. The emergence of wireless sensor networks has brought unprecedented hope to the coal mine of information transmission. Wireless sensor networks has placed flexible and expansion easy, mobility and self-organizing features. Continuous on-line measurement and forecasting of concentration of wireless sensor networks applied to the coal face gas monitoring and control system, to get rid of the shackles of cable, wireless technologies to achieve full coverage of the coal face, the real face gas concentration. To achieve these goals, this article will focus on wireless sensor network technology in the face application of basic theory and gas emission prediction algorithm. Face Methane monitoring based on wireless sensor network from five main aspects related technologies described. First, based on the current coal composition and use of the integrated monitoring system, analysis of the status of the automated monitoring system of the coal mine, and to identify a face monitoring system exists. To improve the shortcomings of the existing face monitoring system, this paper design a wireless sensor network, face monitoring system for prediction of gas emission alarm function. Second, the combination of the existing network architecture in the coal mine, face monitoring system based on WSN is designed to build a monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks face model, the system composed, and the first time the two face communication space concept. Again, we face two characteristics of the communication space, to build a wireless transmission channel model, face communications channel re-sampling algorithm particle filter algorithm has been improved, a semi-underground fanatic channel estimation methods and simulation Face wireless node communication radius, determine the topology wireless sensor node applications in the face. Fourth, the existing wireless sensor network MAC layer and routing layer protocol analysis, and face monitoring requirements to distinguish ideological backoff algorithm improvements IEEE802.15.4 MAC layer protocol, for the face with like transport forwarding node and higher packet loss rate, data forwarding priority strategy; routing layer, this article unreasonable and energy consumption for LEACH protocol cluster head selection is not balanced, the communication overhead in cluster head big two problems is proposed to improve the LEACH-mine agreement. Seen from the simulation results, the improved protocol is superior to the original agreement on network performance. Finally, a gas emission line prediction algorithm using fuzzy least squares method for the prediction of gas emission, joined the algorithm to achieve the online measurement of gas emission in the wireless sensor network gateway node predict and improve the monitoring system.
