Abstract


Research Objective: Children verbal fluency processing brain regions to understand the neural mechanisms of processing, discuss cognitive characteristics, further analysis of the children's verbal fluency age, gender identity and corresponding neural activity. On this basis, investigate motor skills training on verbal fluency. This research can enrich the cognitive processing theory to provide a theoretical reference for future Chinese neural processing mechanisms, will also provide new ways and means for the children's language fluency, has a very wide range of practical value. Methods: In this study, children's cognitive development theory, information processing theory and cognitive neuroscience as the theoretical basis, select Shanghai and Changzhou normal Chinese children study Chinese semantic fluency test for verbal tasks, using functional magnetic resonance imaging resonance study means Siemens 3T magnetic resonance imager system by statistical parametric mapping software on the platform of Matlab 2009 SPM8 (Statistical Parametric Mapping) for processing of the experimental data collected fMRI data and behavioral data to study children's verbal fluency processing brain areas and neural mechanisms. Findings and conclusions: 1. Chinese children Chinese verbal fluency processing was brain bilateral activation, significantly below the activation of brain regions: the left inferior frontal gyrus, the left middle frontal gyrus, the left side of the globus pallidus, under the left lobe of the area, left thalamus, left parietal precuneus, the right lobe of the nerve nuclei, right cerebellar leaves, right inferior frontal gyrus, these brain regions are the same verbal fluency task of working memory, long-term memory, selective attention and executive control choice - suppression linked to cognitive processing; brain activation patterns in children under the age of 2.11 with the basic characteristics of Chinese language processing. Children over the age of 12 has a strong feature of the search and selection capabilities, and strong activation of the left middle frontal gyrus. From the part to the overall development of the different ages of children's speech development process reflects learned to conversion of the glyph and pronunciation, strengthen this feature verbal working memory; right inferior frontal gyrus in children's verbal fluency process plays an important role in women more strongly activated the left inferior frontal gyrus, confirms a female in completed executive function verbal tasks show the advantages may be because of a more flexible vocabulary search strategy; 4. term motor skills training will change individual words nerve processing mode, the motor area and speech area has the characteristics of mutual activation. The Chinese processing mainly in the bilateral inferior frontal cortex, Broca's area of ??the brain function. Processing brain regions close to the motor areas of motor skills training of Chinese processing may be more obvious.
