Abstract

[Objective] The application of magnetic resonance diffusion weighted imaging (Diffusion-weighted imaging DWI) and magnetic resonance angiography (Magnetic resonance angiography MRA) Percheron artery occlusion with cerebral infarction ( Artery of Percheron Infarction , the AOP infarction ) risk factors , clinical manifestations , etiology and prognosis rating analysis , with bilateral next to the middle of the thalamus infarction the basilar artery syndrome (top of the basilar syndrome, TOB S) control , to understand the similarities and differences between the two kinds of cerebral infarction . [Method ] A retrospective analysis of 10 cases of of AOP infarction, and 12 cases associated with TOBS bilateral paramedian thalamus infarction , patients, analyze its imaging features of DWI MRA scan , and each patient blood lipids , blood pressure , blood sugar , blood fibrinogen levels , heart ultrasound, smoking history, drinking history assessment , neurologic deficit score (NIHSS) line all selected cases at the same time understand neurological deficits , prognosis and follow-up 90 days after the mRS score . [Results ] 1 , the performance characteristics of AOP infarction MR bilateral paramedian thalamus infarction with or without the paramedian area , upper , middle cerebral infarction and basilar artery MRA shows normal tip of the basilar artery ( 90.00% ) . 2 , our study found that of AOP infarction risk factors , hypertension is the most common (70.0 %) with diabetes (40.0 % ) at the same time , high-fiber albumin (50.0 %) . Atrial fibrillation incidence than TOBS group (P lt; 0.05). AOP infarction in patients with clinically mainly as disturbance of consciousness in 10 patients ( 100% ) , memory impairment (60 %) , ophthalmoplegia three cases ( 30%) , emotional changes , 3 patients ( 30% ) , in 24 hours the NIHSS score lower than the the TOBS group control group ( P lt; 0.05 ) and 7 days . AOP infarction left over from the 90 - day mRS score most of 3 points or less (80.0%) showed mild to moderate damage . [Conclusion ] AOP infarction is a special type of thalamus infarction in clinical rare , the main cause of embolic cerebral infarction , more associated with bilateral paramedian thalamus infarction TOBS mild clinical manifestations , prognosis is good , legacy life skills and the dependence of light - moderate .
