Abstract


Modern economic development has brought serious environmental problems , and even trigger a global environmental crisis . With the help of science sociology and philosophy of science principles and methods to the typical environmental NGO - U.S. Environmental Protection Association for the study, in a previous study of environmental non-governmental organizations on the basis of using literature methods, statistical methods, and SWOT analysis method, analysis of the U.S. environmental Protection Association formed the ideological background and objective basis ; explore the internal mechanisms of the United States environmental Protection Association , the main features and operating modes ; studies Association of the United States environmental Protection projects carried out in our country and on our environmental policy and environmental governance. On this basis , China's environmental NGO on a reflection , and the development of China's environmental NGO policy recommendations . In this paper, qualitative analysis, quantitative description , based on the U.S. Environmental Protection Association engage in systematic research, has a certain degree of innovation . Main tasks are as follows: a ) illustrates the meaning of environmental non-governmental organizations and important feature , indicating the object of study and research methods. 2 ) the development of environmental ethics and environmental protection practices , based on the analysis of the U.S. Environmental Protection Association produced ideological background and objective basis . 3 ) from the United States Environmental Protection Association 's internal operational mechanism analysis , analyzes the main features of the U.S. Environmental Protection Association , discusses its main concern , research funding sources and its mode of operation . 4 ) analysis of the U.S. Environmental Protection Association, the necessity to undertake projects in our country , for projects carried out in our country have been classified from the project overview, form two aspects of the implementation were discussed, the achievements of the project from the conceptual level , the strategic level , institutional level and practical level analysis of the U.S. environmental Protection Association impact on China . 5 ) analysis of China's environmental NGO status quo, with the method of SWOT analysis of China's environmental NGO 's strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and threats factors discussed Environmental Defense operational characteristics and working patterns on China's environmental NGO Inspiration .
