This thesis is based on the structure of the metal - organic framework compounds, starting from its functionality, mainly to study the synthesis conditions of such compounds, influencing factors, and topology, as well as multi-functional nature, to explore the structural diversity of metal - organic framework compounds and metal - organic framework compounds designed and synthesized with the nature of the application on the basis of the synthesis and structural studies. In addition, in order to achieve the purpose of the design and synthesis of metal - organic framework compounds topology design guidance adamantane was synthesized from a small organic molecules. The paper select different organic ligands were synthesized 14 kinds of metal - organic framework compounds, and the synthesis of compounds of the single crystal structure analysis, and characterization of. In the first chapter, we briefly introduced the metal - organic framework compounds of this class of materials development and synthesis methods, and from different aspects of the structure, nature classified. In the second chapter, we have synthesized a new three-dimensional metal - organic framework compound similar the narrowest aperture with the benzene ring size open to the material of the dumbbell-shaped one-dimensional straight channels, the compounds of benzene, toluene, on toluene show a good adsorption capacity, while the o-, m-xylene No adsorption capacity. The experimental result shows that the compound having a selective adsorption capacity of p-xylene, in the presence of xylene isomer separation of the potential applications. In topology as a basis, we synthesized four trinuclear secondary structural unit of the metal - organic skeleton compound (Chapter III) under similar conditions, and four having rutile, quartz, diamond, the PCU topology metal - organic framework compounds (Chapter IV). In the fifth chapter, we choose OBA, 4.4 '-bpy ligand, pillared strategy synthesized three new compounds to examine and study the effect of the solvent of the compounds in the self-assembly process. Chapter VI, we topology basis starting from the stability and functionality of the target compound skeleton, small organic molecule is selected adamantane as starting materials, select tetrazole as a functional group of the multidentate ligand group, synthesis a new small organic molecules: 1,3,5,7 - tetrazolium adamantane. And rare the CaF2 (flu) topology metal - organic framework compounds synthesized two. Of the metal - organic framework compound synthesis conditions and methods in this paper, the topology and its related nature detail, laid the foundation for further system design and synthesis.
