Purpose: expelling phlegm Huoxuetongluo treatment of idiopathic peripheral facial paralysis , through the application of mentor experience side \facial Paralysis Chinese medicine research and treatment to provide new ideas and methods. Methods: 60 cases of idiopathic peripheral facial paralysis were randomly divided into Qianzheng Fu Yan drink group ( 30 cases ) and large active capsule group ( 30 cases ) , two weeks for a course, were treated for 4 weeks , a month follow-up , respectively, before treatment, 2 weeks , 4 weeks of treatment and one month after the follow-up for patients with House-Brackmann scale , mouth secluded TCM symptom score scale score, and in four weeks before treatment respectively, after the patient facial disability index (FDI) ( including physical function FDIP ratings and social life functions FDIS score ) score, to study idiopathic peripheral facial paralysis on the first onset patient image , mood , daily life, social activities impact and patients with early onset of mental health . Results: After treatment , the treatment group was 90.00% in the control group was 66.67% , the two groups were significantly different (P lt; 0.05). HB scale in comparison to the severity of the situation and integral calculus and FDIP TCM symptom score and other indicators of improvement in the treatment group than the control group also (P lt; 0.05), while in the comparison FDIS score change was no significant difference between the two groups (P gt; 0.05).
