With the development of digital medical scale and degree of specialization of hospital information systems continue to improve, and medical institutions, there is often hundreds of heterogeneous equipment and information systems. Must integrate medical information from the various types of equipment and information systems in order to meet the overall medical information needs, on the one hand to provide information support for all types of medical services, on the other hand must achieve interoperability between all heterogeneous equipment and information systems operation and workflow collaboration, the overall medical collaborative environment to improve the efficiency and quality of medical services. Between various heterogeneous devices and information systems integration is the key to achieve this purpose, but the lack of interoperability standards, the lack of a comprehensive standard terminology, lack of plug-and-play application software systems and the integration of different systems required too high a series of questions for decades has been restricting the integration process. With the emergence of a new model of the Group Hospital, hospital and community joint integration of medical resources in hospitals at all levels have also been on the agenda, integrated demand more urgent, more complex integration problems. In order to provide total solutions to the medical information system integration issues, the departure from the integrated assessment and integrated technology, the formulation and implementation of research and exploration around the integration target, on the one hand, a maturity model for evaluating interoperability way to achieve the level of interoperability between medical information systems and the integration objective of the development of the next set of technologies, including integrated model, including the integrated engine and implementation methods, on the other hand to achieve integration goals. The main content of the paper include: 1, a systematic review of the domestic and foreign medical information system integration progress of the research work, and in-depth analysis of the demand for medical information systems integration; 2, a medical information system interoperability maturity model MISIM (Medical Information System Interoperability Maturity model), can guide hospital managers to evaluate medical information systems interoperability level, integrated information system to develop the next target, ordered to continuously improve the level of interoperability between medical information systems ; 3, facing the ultimate goal of semantic and process interoperability between healthcare information systems, proposed a tiered medical information system integration model SWIM (Semantic and Workflow based Integration Model), connected through the system layer support follow different health information exchange the system interconnection agreement, through syntactic conversion layer data syntax or structure are resolved correctly between systems, data semantics are correct understanding of semantic translation layer between systems, all kinds of information through the the transaction mapping layer between systems exchange data with standard medical affairs mapping between systems through process management to achieve a unified business process orchestration, drivers and management; 4, SWIM-based medical information system integration engine was designed and implemented to the information bus interface between different systems, data, functions and processes such as the conversion of a number of levels and coordination of services to solve the integration of data between heterogeneous medical information systems integration and workflow; 5, a systems integration practice is carried out in a large general hospital On this basis, the formation of a complex medical environment integrated medical information system implementation method, use case model through the development, integration planning interactively select the integration technology to develop the interaction model to develop messaging model, integration, configuration and integration test multiple steps, and provides guidance for an orderly plan and carry out the integrated implementation of complex medical environment. The experiment results show that medical information systems through integrated systems integration engine based between different integration technology system to normal message exchange to reduce coupling between systems, data integration and integration in the semantic level , opened up unlimited prospects for the application of clinical data through dynamic configuration of the process in the case of various information systems without modifying the dynamic adjustment of the process to ensure that the process collaboration seamless docking and meet the needs of the user process.
