Abstract


Background: According to the Second Sample Survey on Disability report: China 0-14 year-old disabled population 3.87 million, accounting for 4.66%, 2001 0-6 years children with disabilities sampling survey data show that, of about 0-6 -year-old children with disabilities 1,417,000 annually about new 0-6 year-old children with disabilities 199,000. The birth of children with disabilities, and brought heavy pressure and burden to the family. Parents shoulder the important task of raising the rehabilitation of children with disabilities. The face of significant economic pressure and psychological pressure, the quality of life of parents of children with disabilities have been seriously affected, parents bear pressure endanger their physical and mental health, the quality of life of parents of children with disabilities in research to identify the influencing factors for Help parents reduce stress, improve quality of life, to enable parents to better mentality into the rehabilitation of children with disabilities, and to provide a basis for improving the effect of rehabilitation to increase parents' sense of responsibility and a sense of accomplishment. Objective: to investigate the psychological pressure situation for parents of children with disabilities, whether the presence of anxiety, depressive symptoms, coping style of parents of children with disabilities, and seeking social support, quality of life situation of parents of children with disabilities; analysis affect the quality of life of parents of children with disabilities possible factors. Methods: The questionnaire survey, a total of 170 questionnaires were distributed and 158 valid questionnaires. Qilu Children's Hospital to participate in rehabilitation training hearing impairments, cerebral palsy, intellectual and autism, parents of children with autism and parents of children of the Shandong provincial federations, hearing and speech rehabilitation Guidance Center conducted a questionnaire survey, parents of disabled children psychological pressure questionnaires; Coping Style Questionnaire; Social Support Rating Scale: Quality of Life Assessment Questionnaire -74 (GQOL1-74 for adults); Anxiety Scale (SAS Scale) and Depression Scale (CES-D) measurement check on parents, with Epidate3.02 data entry, and then using SPSS16.0 analysis of data using independent samples t-test, bivariate correlation analysis, chi-square test and stepwise regression statistical methods. Conclusion: The larger the psychological stress of parents of children with disabilities, there is anxiety and depression, quality of life is not high. Recommendation: It is recommended that parents of children with disabilities to raise awareness, reduce stress; quality higher cost of rehabilitation of disabled children, to sound the families of children with disabilities, social support systems, and increase efforts to rescue children with disabilities, and to reduce the family burden and improve the lives of the parents of children with disabilities quality, to ensure effective rehabilitation of children with disabilities.
