Abstract


Happiness is a timeless topic. Historically there had been happy with the realization theory of happiness. Happy Happy is happy advocate of nature, however, the Western religious scholars and thinkers do not agree with this view, they think happiness is self-realization and individual potential into full play. Psychological well-being is based on the realization of the concept of happiness generated. In the West, the psychological well-being and religious, self-realization, forgiveness, closely related concepts such as social support, more in-depth study. However, domestic on psychological well-being of Christians and influencing factors is relatively small. Christianity in China belongs to a foreign religion, religious development strategy in China in transition, as well as religious pluralism in the context of having a bicultural Chinese Christians, religion can bring to their psychological well-being, and non-believers compared to their psychological well-being would be any different other issues are worthy of our consideration. This study aims to understand the psychological well-being of Chinese Christians and other religious basic status, and Christians and non-believers to compare the psychological well-being, on this basis, affecting Christians factors related to psychological well-being research. In this study, revised the psychological well-being scale and Christian religious scale, with AMOS17.0 questionnaire conducted confirmatory factor analysis; followed by Christians and non-believers on the psychological well-being, religious, and perceived stress a comparative study of social support; again believers psychological well-being of the general status and related factors were studied, using AMOS17.0 on religious and psychological well-being of the mediating variables to validate the model; finally on the part of Christians conducted semi-structured interviews. This study randomly Lanzhou, Gansu Province Yamana ten churches, Christian churches Anning District, Zhangye Christ Church Christ Church and Christians in Xi'an 300 people (aged 19-72 years, mean age 42.6 years), and in Zhangye, Lanzhou and Xi'an random extracting non-believers to 300 people as a control group. Finally 437 valid questionnaires, of which 205 Christians, men 88 parts, 117 women, 232 were non-believers, of which 112 were male, 120 female. A questionnaire and interview survey of believers and non-believers of psychological well-being and other issues. The main tool used in the study of psychological well-being revised scale, the revised dumping outside religious Scale, Perceived Social Support Scale, Chinese version of the Perceived Stress Scale. Eventually come to the following conclusions: (1) amended by the 13 religious scale project components, and still retains the original scale, the two dimensions of extraversion religious. Scale has good reliability and discrimination, but also has good construct validity. Confirmatory factor analysis of the fitting index higher; revised psychological well-being scale composed by the 17 projects still retain the original scale of a dimension that psychological well-being, with good reliability and discrimination, but also has good construct validity, confirmatory factor analysis of the fitting index is higher. (2) Christians and non-Christians in the psychological well-being and social support on each factor there is no significant difference, but the Christians perceived stress scores were significantly higher than non-believers. (3) Christians of different age groups in religious, perceived stress, psychological well-being and social support, there are significant differences. With increasing age, the Christian psychological well-being, religious, social support is increasing, perceived pressure decreases. (4) male and female Christians in psychological well-being, social support, perceived stress, there are significant differences in the internal and external pour religious exists a critical significant effect; Christian women's psychological well-being, social support, introversion religious scored significantly higher than male, male Christians perceived stress, extraversion scores were significantly higher than religious Christian women. (5) the health status of different Christian religious, psychological well-being were significantly different, more physical health, psychological well-being is stronger, but lower religiosity. (6) psychological well-being and introversion religious, social support a moderate correlation with perceived stress there is a low negative correlation; while introversion religious and perceived stress, social support, there are different degrees of correlation, extraversion religious and pressure Perceived social support and there is no significant correlation. (7) perceived stress and psychological well-being in the religious sense of complete mediating effect between; social support and psychological well-being in a religious sense as an intermediary between effects need to be further verified.
