The coal industry is one of the pillar industries in China, which places an important role in the national economy. Meanwhile, the safety production of coal has become an increasingly prominent problem. As one of the main working systems of coal production, underground mine drainage has a very important status in the coal safety production. However, most coalmines of China today still use the traditional relay control drainage system, which can not meet the development of China’s coal industry because it has a big risk for its low degree of automatic and slow emergency response.This essay analyzes the disadvantages of existing underground mine drainage systems and studies the controller of the fittest underground mine drainage system for China’s mines. The system uses CJ1G-42H made by Omron Corporation as the master device, together expands the controller with necessary analog inputs unit、communication units and digital input&output expansion unit. The system is designed to three main control modes: automatic, semi-automatic and manual operation. Among the three modes, the semi—automatic is divided into two styles: semi-automatic touch screen set control and semi-automatic controlling room set control. All those four modes can shift freely within the system. When the system is on automatic mode, it can not only detect the water storehouse level but can also automatic alert when fault happen and decide to start or stop the pumps.The underground drainage system is a big power consumption department which operation cost is very high. The system basis on fuzzy control theory combine with the controller of underground drainage system can decide to open the quantity of water pumps in accordance with the peak or low ebb electricity demand. By this way, the coal production can be lowered.By using industrial Ethernet, the system can transfer underground data to the ground monitoring room. The principle Computer basis on Ifix software can monitor and control the underground water pumps all the time.
