Abstract


What are the units of visual working memory capacity? Features, objects or spatial location? The relationship between them and how? This is a hot issue since 1997 Luck and Vogel pioneer research focus in the study of visual working memory, Cognitive Science. It is not only the expansion and deepening of visual working memory capacity study, but also to grasp the real key visual working memory. Graphic texture, shape and color features in visual working memory storage and bundled condition on the basis of previous studies of system, the purpose is to increase through the introduction of graphical another basic characteristics - texture graphics constitute dimension, the repeatability of local features to improve the information content of the graphics, and the use of texture (texture-based) to control the spatial position of the two characteristic values ??of the same dimension differences, which of the five units and their mechanisms of visual working memory storage hypothesis the authenticity and adapt to conditions in system verification, in order to have a clearer understanding of visual working memory storage and characterization.
