Abstract


Of Isaac Basheweisi Singh is a famous contemporary American Jewish writer , his work reflects a deep Jewish connotations inherent in the process of traditional culture and modern culture are intertwined . Integration and conflict of the Jewish culture and the American culture throughout the text always . Facing the impact of different cultures , Singh's sense of identity in an inconsistent state . On the one hand , he hoped to integrate into mainstream society ; the other hand, they can not get rid of the traditional . In this dilemma of the situation , he chose to return to the embrace of Jewish tradition . He believes that only by adhering to the Jewish faith , the Jewish people have a way out . The text of this article based on the works of Singh interpretation , interpretation of the works of Jewish traditional culture , language , themes , characters , and other Jewish writers of comparative and comprehensive analysis in order to the identity conscious explore starting .
