Abstract


With the progress of“all the people health sports”, the great success of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, the development of sports are flourishing and prospering. However, due to the large population with multi-background, the unbalanced development of the East-West region, the different situation of local economy and the various habits and traditional cultural custom of people, many problems are generating in sports development, at the same time facing new stern challenges. Along with the improvement of people living standard, more and more people are begin to participate in the sports, taking exercises is becoming one newn hot spot and fashion, the flourish is demanding more sport facilities, more spaces and more stadium, which generate great contradictions between the two.This article is taking south area in Henan as the object, society sports development present situation in Gushi County, one of the county in this area, as the sample to make the investigation, by adopting the method document supporting - on spot research - providing questionnaire to collect the first-hand information and data, then the information and data shall be processed with Excel and the SPSS16.0 software, using correlative method to carry out the sports statistical analysis to explore suitable way for society sports development and provide the theory basis.The research shown that, sports developed in Gushi County is unbalanced; The regional development is uneven; the organization and management level are low; individual participation situation are not ideal; participants consciousness needs to be improved; sports condition is not good; The factors which influence society sports participation condition is complicated.The suggestion, Gushi County must develop the economic sports, school sports and social sports in a balanced way, make harmonious relationships between the three; Construct and perfect society sports regional network system; improve social sports management system;Enhance society sports organization system; pay attention to the individual development of the participants; transfer sports consciousness, enlarge sports expends, follow the sports industrialization road; improve society sports participants enthusiasm; act as circumstances permit, optimize sports project disposition; development public sports facilities and individual sports hobby; strengthen propaganda platform.At the same time, the author have proposed three suggestions for society sports development of Gushi County based on the present situation: make good use of the opportunity to strengthen facility construction; clarify the social sports development relations; forward the idea of uniformity of right and obligations
