Weifang City needs a large number of highly qualified skilled personnel to build the Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone and the Peninsula Blue Economic Zone , but the status of Weifang vocational education can not meet the needs of economic and social development , practicality and technical personnel and skilled workers is a serious the lack of the very prominent phenomenon , the status quo for the development of Weifang vocational education provides a reasonable and realistic basis . From the Weifang area in the 1980s to the 1990s , the development of vocational education in the medium-term experienced a period of rapid development period , but since the late 1990s , especially since the 1998 college massive enrollment in vocational education has encountered unprecedented difficulties, the sharp drop in the momentum of development . In this paper, the survey of the the Weifang area 10 vocational schools to identify the problems and causes of Weifang vocational education : vocational schools to work in professional settings , curriculum , faculty , employment guidance lag , culture students can not meet the needs of the community , parents, students, resulting in a serious shortage of demand for vocational education . Learn from both domestic and international experience in the reform and development of vocational education , to explore new ideas of vocational education reform , and propose specific measures : the Taiwan Experience , reform the existing education model , rational set of professional courses , strengthening the teaching staff enhance students ' career guidance and employment services , deepen the school-enterprise cooperation , industry - oriented , strengthen students' skills training , and increase the funding of vocational education and broaden investment channels . Provide reference for the region through research, vocational education reform in vocational education to better serve the economic development of the Weifang area , more high-quality training for social workers to meet the needs of people affected by education .
