Abstract


The ideological and political course is a theoretical, ideological and application into one discipline. Its purpose is two points, the first point is to take students 'ideological and moral standards to a higher level; second point is the emphasis on cultivating students' practical ability, that is, learn to use the Marxist-Leninist stand, viewpoint and method analysis and problem-solving abilities. The new high school ideological and political course standards, clearly pointed out in the Preface: ideological and political teaching must focus on the development of contemporary society and the growth of high school students need to enhance the ideological and political education of contemporary relevance, timeliness, and initiative, emphasis on the organic integration of knowledge, ability, knowledge based, to change the emphasis in the past to reflect the development of the students centered, attention to the training of students' abilities. Therefore, teachers in the new knowledge imparted to students, but also to focus on students' abilities. But we must also be clear that ideological and political teaching in the high school to focus on students' abilities, is both a need and a possibility. Under the influence of the worldwide youth capacity-building ideology, our education theory and practice of community in the 1990s, a high school political Teaching Students' Ability explore.
