Geopark is a geological heritages scenic spot of special geoscientific significance, rare natural attribute and aesthetically ornamental value and with given scale and distribution scope, which integrates other natural scenes and sights and that of cultural interest into a unique natural area. UNESCO put forward the plan of Global Geoparks Network in order to promote local economic development and protect geological heritage. At the end of 2006, 56 Geoparks in 17 Member States are currently members of the Global Geoparks Network assisted by UNESCO, and 20 Geoparks in China, account for 36%, therefore, it is of great pratical significance to the study of Geopark.Firstly, this research summed up the history, method and content of tourism resources values based on the concept of Welfare Economic. The author put forward the concept, value classifying system and method of Geopark of famous mountain through characteristic of mountain scenery and Geopark based on the Utility Theory.Secondly, this research revealed the scientific values of Guiqing Mountain Geopark through geological sites evaluation. Guiqing and Zheyang Mountain were highly regarded for their aesthetic values because of spectacular landscape of Karst, canyon and forest with tourism resources evaluation. The study of tourist markets provided the basic data for the study of TCM and CVM, at the same time, the results showed 90% tourists came from Gansu province. The recreational values of Guiqing Mountain Geopark was 61.91 million RMB with TCM in 2006. The non-use values of Guiqing Mountain Geopark was 69.62 million RMB with CVM in 2006, among them, non-use values of Guiqing Mountain and Zheyang Mountain were 39.39 and 30.24 million RMB separately, existence value, bequest value and option value of Guiqing Mountain were 31.9, 7.48 and 7.48 million RMB separately; existence value, bequest value and option value of Zheyang Mountain were 24.49, 7.26 and 6.05 million RMB separately.Finally, this research showed Guiqing Mountain Geopark less than Maiji, Kongtong and Xinglong Moutain but better than other famous mountais in Gansu through comparing among them.
