Abstract

Automatic hydrological telemetry system, as one of the nonstructural measures, can effectively reduce flood disasters. It’s most important to improve the hydrologic prediction methods and forecast precision and implemente the flood forecast scheduling in making sure the property security of our state and people as well as establishing a harmonious society. This essay maily analyzed hydrologic prediction system in arid and semiarid regions on the basis of deep research on development of flood forecasting technology at home and abroad and flood forecasting model which is the main part of hydrologic forecast in half dry and wet areas, aiming to provide new thoughts on melioration of the existing hydrologic telemetry system in Fenhe reservoir. This article presented the necessity of improving the hydrologic telemetry system of Fenhe reservoir due to the hydrogeologic conditions and characteristics of basin control catchment in Fenhe reservoir, combined with the previous established flood forecasting system of Fenhe reservoir and renewed hardware device and matured communication technology. Many radar telemetering gauging stations have been built along upstream of Fenhe reservoir to further enhance the establishment of hydrologic telemetry station and improve the prediction accuracy due to the spirit of NO.l document concerning advances in science and technology.A mature GPRS/CDMA pattern was adopted in communication mode of every rainfall and water flow monitor system and datas were real-time transmissioned to data collecting center of the reservoir. Each station insitu was allocated with GPRS/CDMA module, collecting real-time hydrologic datas in time with online networking methods. This essay used Xinanjiang model with three and two water sources instead of the single hydrological model for basin forecasting and applied VB language of computer to write down these two different models into one flood forecasting interface so that we can forecast rapidly on the basis of multimodels and results can be showed directly in two models of different geological conditions, which helps us to look for an appropriate hydrological forecasting model in fenhe reservoir. The study analyzed and compared different water forecast models and simulated the settlement results in corresponding models due to typical hydrologic datas actually measured each year. Furthermore, the curve estimation was completed combined with the runoff of warehousing and exwarehousing, which showed that the maximum discharge of three water model was larger than that of two water model and the three water model turned out to be more stable than the other one in whole. However, the whole parameter can’t be decided with a single simulation and more hydrologic datas in different years are needed to be analyzed to find out the optimal value and make the forecasting results closer to the practical warehousing flood and reduce the deviation as possible as we can. In that way, a better result can be gained on flood forecasting operation in dry or half-dry areas with the help of the established system.
