Abstract


Qingdao A-Xiang Catering Management Service Co. LTD, since its establishment in 2000, studies market in-depth regulars, focus on new products development. The products meet the customers’requirements by use of consummate craft and strict management. After 10 years of growth experience, the company has own restaurant chain in more than 20 provinces/cities in China. To make such a number of chain materials can get timely delivery thus maintaining the normal operation of the company business, the company set up the affiliate material distribution center in Weifang city. In addition, two sub-centers have been built in Beijing and Chengyang. The distribution center in Weifang city is the communication centre between the company and all supply units, is the raw material supplies department to keep the chain operation of the restaurant chain.Because the supply and demand of catering materials is complex and frequent, thus makes the management use of the original manual processing methods more difficult. If there is a set of material management system, the supply of goods and materials can be taken timely, efficient, quality and quantity to all the restaurant chain will be particularly important for the company’s future development.Material management system not only can make the managers to know whole process state of materials and inventory situation well, and provide scientific basis for the decision-making management, thereby improving the management level and work efficiency, but also can make staffs dump of manual accounting way, thus minimizing the manual operation bring turnovers, accelerate supplies turnaround, improving economic efficiency, get twice the result with half the effort. The purpose of this research is aimed at enterprise material management department of practical operation mode, use current relatively frontier Web project development technology, to construct material management system which the enterprise actual need.According to the aim and significance of research, combining the actual catering company distribution center, this paper asked for all views, besides carried out investigations and analysis to the overall process of materials supply, determines the subject of research contents: Design and implementation of the material management system based on Struts Framework. In this system, the MVC pattern is the overall design principles, the Struts Framework is the concrete implementation technology, the persistence layer with Hibernate technology is increased between the business logic layer and database layer, combined with modular design concept, the design of the system contain 7 functional relatively independent but related modules: materials enter storage module, materials storage export module, materials processing module, query statistics module, basic information modules, system management module and change password module.System is based on three layers Web application architecture that is the presentation layer, business logic and data storage layer. Program structure makes clear, each layer with clearly defined functions, reducing the coupling process. The material management information system based on SH model can effectively solve the problems of high-coupling and complicated maintain in traditional Web application development, layered architecture allows the system process clear, easy to extend and maintain.
