Owing to its excellent physical and chemical properties, nanomaterials attract wide interests from researchers of different areas. The preparation and applied research of metal nanomaterials, especially gold and silver nanomaterials are always one of the research points of researchers in the field of materials science and analytical chemistry. Based on silver nanomaterials’unique properties, such as quantum size effects, surface-interface effects, small size effects and macro-quantum tunnel effects, they exhibits many excellent characters in the field of magnetics, optics, thermology, and electricity. Therefore, nanomaterials are extensively used in biological probe, CT imaging, drug delivery, magnetic hyperthermia. photohyperthermia. catalysis and so on. In the present thesis, chapter1reviews the preparation and characterization of functionalized AgNPs and the applications. Chapter2-4show some original research works during the study of master’s degree.Chapter1:The concept, properties, synthetic methods and characterization techniques of Ag nanomaterials and applications of nanomaterials in everyday life were introduced and reviewed.Chapter2:A simple, rapid and ultrasensitive colorimetric method for the determination of propafenone, based on the specific recognition property of propafenone with the unique optical properties of AgNPs, has been developed. The detection limit of propafenone was2.4μM. The proposed method is a promising mean for on-site detection of propafenone in actual samples without costly instruments.Chapter3:A functional GO/AgNPs nanocomposite was obtained by in situ reduction of positively charged AgNO3precursors which were adsorbed on the negatively charged surface of GO through electrostatic attraction. GO/Ag-Fe3O4magnetic nanoparticles (GAMN) were generated via an amidation reaction in the presence of1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethyaminopropyl) carbodiimide and N-hydroxysuccinnimide for the first time. The nanoparticle was characterized by X-ray diffractometer, transmission electron microscope and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. The catalysis property of the nanocomposite was studied by degrade4-nitrophenol. The characterized results proved that AgNPs and Fe3O4have been successfully decorated on GO nanosheets. The GAMN possess high catalytic capacity and good reusability, and exhibit great potential in environmental pollutant degradation.
