Abstract

Virtualization technology has been in recent years, to flourish , the open source software XEN virtual machine using paravirtualization technology , so close to the performance of stand-alone virtual machine , and XEN virtual machine management software the super permissions achieve hardware resource allocation and management, improve the security of the virtual machine , these advantages have broad application prospects XEN virtual machine . XEN virtual machine using the mechanism of the separation device driver , client access to hardware resources , client Domain U ( non-privileged class clients ) to access the disk data disk block device driver through Domain 0 ( privilege level client ) The procedure is completed . Domain U Domain 0 and other clients do not want to see their own data disk , Domain U disk encryption processing . In addition, in the process of reading and writing of disk data , Domain U disk data is fully visible on the Domain 0 Domain 0 end malicious program can eavesdrop the Domain U data , resulting in the leakage of the the Domain U disk data . The detailed analysis of the papers by the mechanism of the XEN separation drive , but can not view the disk data on disk ( in addition to file system metadata ) data encryption , this could make the Domain 0 normal mount encrypted disk is designed and implemented . The data in the the Domain U front-end driver layer added data encryption and decryption modules , using the AES algorithm to encrypt the operating data to be written to the Domain 0 shared memory page , to read the data in the address space of the Domain U decryption in order to achieve the Domain U secure storage. This system is not only to ensure that the Domain U Disk Data Domain 0 is not visible in the static case , but also so that the Domain U disk read and write data in the process , as long as the data address space left Domain U in an encrypted state , to ensure that the data is read write the security process .
