Abstract


The implementation of Modern Distance Education Project in rural elementary and secondary schools has provided quality education resources for teachers and students in central and west regions, and has improved informatization condition of the rural middle and primary schools. The key of the implementation of this project lies in application of equipment and resources, but it also has many questions in the area of the resources application through literature survey and on-the-spot investigation, such as capital support, information technology level of teachers, equipment management and maintenance, resource development and application. Between the different regions, and between the different schools shows the two polarized application phenomenon. Due to existing literature about Modern Distance Education Project in rural elementary and secondary schools mainly focus in western region of China, and the related research in theory research is mainly with little empirical research. The author has selected Changyuan county in Henan province in central region for investigation area, especially has investigated local application present about the education resources of this project.Through on-the-spot investigation, interview and combing with investigation data and material of statistical analysis, this paper focus on the application ,management and training present situation about modern distance education resources and the existing problems in rural primary schools of Changyuan county in Henan province, in which applications mainly involves teachers application requirements, application preference, application difficulty, etc. According to practical condition of local area and existing problems, the author puts forward the effective solutions and suggestions. Basing on the elementary school teaching application present in Changyuan area, this paper explores the teaching application mode of distance education resource for the local, and selects pilot school for filed–work research. It is expected that distance education resources can actually integrate into rural education, eventually promotes the development of rural education.
