Because of the unique physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials, it hasbeen widely used as photocatalysis, sensors, micro-or nano-electronics etc. Thequantum size effects and surface effect of nanomaterials make it a good performanceand broad application prospects. The emergence of electrospinning techniqueprovides a new world for research on nanomaterials. At present, a large number ofresearches have been extended to the field of electrospinning. However, the functionof electrospinning technique and the performance of nanomaterials have not beenfully exploited. In this thesis, electrospinning technology has been used to prepare a series ofnanofibers with different structures and functions combined with heat treatment, liquid phase reaction, and other methods. Moreover these nanomaterials werestudied as photocatalysis and the effects of thicknesses on the performance ofelectrocatalysis have also been discussed. Specific research results are shown asfollows:1. LaCoO3nanofibers were prepared via electrospinning and sintering method. The fiber structures of LaCoO3were formed by the accumulation of nanoparticles. The diameter of the fiber decreased with the increasing of sintering temperature. Theas-prepared LaCoO3nanofibers have excellent photocatalysis performance towardRhB. LaCoO3nanofibers prepared under600oC showed the most outstanding catalysis property. In addition, the device also showed extremely high selectivity andstability.2. Different thicknesses of PAN/Au composite nanofibers modified electrodes wereprepared via electro-spinning technique by simply controlling the spin time. Theeffect of different thicknesses of the materials to the modified electrodes, and theirmorphology, structure and electrocatalysis characteristics were also studied. Thethickness of materials influences the electrocatalysis performance dramaticly. Itdemonstrated that after20mins’ spin time, the modified electrode showed the bestelectrocatlysis performance towards H2O2.
