OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology was selected for its multi-carrier , anti-multipath interference characteristics key technologies of LTE (Long Term Evolution) system . Meanwhile , OFDM technology to better link adaptation techniques together to fully tap the system frequency resources , in order to achieve the improvement of system capacity . Enhanced optimized on the basis of each of the layers based on the resource allocation scheme of the hierarchical model the performance of the system in a separate layer (Layer) , but does not improve the overall performance of the system . Cross-layer design to take full account of the coupling between the layers , the layers of the network segmentation as a whole to optimize system performance , and thus could enhance overall system . Therefore, the study of OFDM system cross-layer resource allocation has greater practical significance . At the same time introduced the basic structure and key technologies of LTE systems , under a hierarchical model of the block resource allocation method . On this basis , the first to explore the importance of cross-layer design and LTE Downlink OFDM system cross-layer resource allocation diagram is given ; Second , analysis of cross-layer resource allocation process , and then export the user transfer rates lower and mixed business under the QOS (Quality of Service, QoS) requirements of priority function based on the different types of business ; Finally , the proposed cross-layer resource allocation strategies based on the QoS guarantee OFDM system , this cross-layer scheme is changed by the physical layer radio channel characteristics , MAC layer the cache queue inherent dynamic characteristics , application layer business to reach the randomness and the user the technical application under multi-user diversity between fairness fusion which the entire scheduling and resource allocation in order to achieve the network layers information about the interaction between , and to ensure the validity and reliability of the transmission network . Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm to ensure that users between the proportional fair overall reduce system latency and improve the system spectral efficiency .
