This study is based on goaf actual situation of8105fully mechanized top-coal caving face,researching on spontaneous combustion "three-zone" in goaf and its scope change, to provide thebasis for eliminating fire hazard in goaf. First, establishing monitoring system in goaf of8105fully mechanized top-coal caving face, analyzing oxygen concentration field distribution, andbasing on oxygen concentration to divide spontaneous combustion goaf area into "three zones".With the fluid calculation software FLUENT, to establish two-dimensional percolation model ofwind speed, analyze wind flow field in goaf, and divide spontaneous combustion goaf area into"three zone" based on wind speed indicator. Compared with the spontaneous combustion "three-zone" divided by oxygen concentration field, to ensure that the "three-zone" division iscorrectly. Then, in this paper, with the application of numerical simulation method, analyzingwind speed flow field changes in goaf under the conditions of air volume adjustment andestablishing wall in the top corner. Based on the flow field, analyzing the scope change ofspontaneous combustion "three-zone". At last, this paper uses beam tube to monitor oxygenconcentration, analyzing the scope change of spontaneous combustion "three-zone" under thecondition of continuous nitrogen injection, to lay the foundation for evaluating the effect ofnitrogen injection. Studying on spontaneous combustion "three-zone" in goaf, would provideguidance to formulate the best fire prevention measures and prevent coal spontaneouscombustion in goaf.
