Abstract

Ammonia storage tank area is usually stored in the flammable, explosive, toxic substances, due to the unsafe condition of the material or unsafe behavior, resulting in a lot of flammable, explosive, toxic spill, and even a fire, explosion and to poisoning, resulting in a lot of propertydamage and casualties. Therefore, prevention and control of liquid ammonia storage tank areafires and explosions occur, reduce casualties, property damage, maintaining social stability isof great significance, and increasingly important for people to safety evaluation of liquidammonia storage tank area. The safety assessment of the ammonia tank in the course of the study, given theintroduction part of this article briefly describes the research background and significance ofthe research status, the main contents and methods of research, and innovation point of thepaper; then expounded the theory of the safety assessment of liquid ammonia storage tankarea, ammonia tank, explore the principle of a safety evaluation method selected, the choiceof safety assessment of liquid ammonia storage tank area, the general safety evaluation:qualitative safety assessment, the index of safety assessment and fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation. This article describes the safety evaluation of two methods: DOW Act (index ofsafety assessment) and flammable, explosive, toxic major hazard evaluation, given the safetyassessment procedure and the calculation formula, and to explore the safety assessment modelto establish principles; on this basis, the liquid ammonia storage tank area security assessment, application DOW France six ICI / of MOND law on the irrigation area were evaluated, notingthat the safety evaluation of the liquid ammonia storage tank area from fire and explosionindex calculation, the material coefficient (MF) of the calculation, the calculation of fireexplosion index (F&EI) of maximum possible property loss calculation, basic MPPD, theactual MPPD’s calculations and the actual exposed area radius R and area S of the calculation, comprehensive calculation of derived evaluation of the safety of the liquid ammonia storagetank area. Analyzed the safety evaluation mode and evaluation process of the liquid ammoniastorage tank area, and the evaluation results were analyzed; Finally, given the multiple. dimensions of security countermeasures and suggestions of the liquid ammonia storage tankarea. The safety evaluation can largely reduce the possible dangers of the ammonia tank toensure the safety of personnel health and social property.
