Abstract


Beginning at the middle of the 1960s,The Third Front Construction was the large-scale economic construction in western China in the history of the Peoples’Republic of China.It went with preparing for war as the core,enforcing the defense scientific industry as emphasis,building the firm strategic areas as the goal,enforcing the national defense and improving the industry distribution as the point of departure,and achieved great successes in the fields of the transportation,engineering,energy resources,raw and semi-finished materials,light and textile industry.Because its unique geographical position and a lot of resources,Gansu province played an important role in the Third Front Construction.Gansu’s Third Front Construction had entered a new stage of adjustment and reform Since 1980s.In more than 20 years history of adjustment and reform,the initial stage of the"LIUWU" and "QIWU" adjustment and reform played an extremely important role.It had made an indelible contribution for Gansu’s economic development.It was very important to review on the history and adjustment and reform of Gansu’s Third Front Construction and analyze its experience in the economic construction today.Fu11 text includes the preface,the main text and the conclusion.The preface explains briefly the reason of choosing this topic and its significance,as well as the existent research situation.The main text includes 4 parts.It mainly uses the chart to elaborate,and connects the relative articles,then uses the gansu archives’existence information according to the central thesis.The 4 parts includes some contents:First part:To introduce background of Gansu’s Third Front Construction,the entire national Third Front Construction’s background,as well as the planning and implementation of Gansu’Third Front Construction.Second part:The achievements of Gansu’s Third Front Construction,It is including materials industry,national machinery industry,electronic industry,energy industry,national defense science and technology industry,and to introduce the survey of some typical enterprises.Third part:The history evaluation of Gansu’s Third Front Construction.It is to discuss the evaluation from two aspects of the certain and problems of Gansu’s Third Front Construction.Fourth part:The adjustment and reform of Gansu’s Third Front Construction.It is to discuss Gansu’Third Front Construction from three aspects of the background,mainly content and results of the adjustment and reform.
