Abstract


In order to describe the seismic behavior of the structure such as high-risebuildings and super high-rise buildings more accurately, elastic-plastic time-historyanalysis under rare earthquake is needed to these structures. Because the generalfinite element software like ABAQUS uses the fiber model and layered shell model,so ABAQUS can obtain more accurate solution compared with the structureengineering software which adopt plastic hinge model. And it becomes one of themost important tools for structural dynamic elastic-plastic analysis. But its complexpreprocessing and postprocessing ability hinder its application in practicalengineering analysis.To improve the efficiency of preprocessing by ABAQUS, this dissertationpropose a method for model transformation. The method combines the advantage ofMIDAS/Building in rapid modeling and the existed conversion program, thenrealizes the model transformation between MIDAS/Building and ABAQUS andsimplifies preprocessing of ABAQUS. Moreover, to the element with bad qualitygenerated by direct conversion method, this dissertation will apply HyperMesh tooptimize those element, which has a great improvement in the aspect of accuracy.In the progress of model preprocessing, the accuracy of elastoplastic analysisresults not only depend on the size and quality of the element, but also depend on thereinforcement situation in components. Although the model transformation programhas realized the precise reinforcement to the components such as beam, column andwall, the reinforcement information in the slab is still according to the experientwhich is not agree with practical situation. This dissertation will add an accuratereinforcement module of the slab into MIDAS TO ABAQUS. The module read orcalculate the internal force of plate element according to the input information, andthen realize more accurate reinforcement design.After calculation and analysis by ABAQUS, we should extract data such asinter-story drift angle and damage index to evaluate seismic performance of thestructure. But because there are large number of data to be processed, which reducethe efficiency of analysis. So this dissertation develop GUI of plug-in and the kernelscript by Python, which can automatically calculate inter-story drift angle anddamage index of each kind of component.Finally, build a structure model of a practical mansion by MIDAS/Building, andthen convert it to ABAQUS according to model transformation strategy. Use theprestress reinforcement module developed in this dissertation to add prestress reinforcement. Conduct elastic-plastic analysis to the model, and then extractevaluation index by plug-in program. The analysis result show that the modeltransformation strategy and plug-in program are available and high-efficiency tohigh-rise RC structures.
