Abstract


Natural gas, as a clean energy and the third largest energy after coal and oil, its exploitation is driving effect for economic and social development. More and more attention about eco-environment, special the fragile eco-environment, is received with the rapid development of natural gas industry. The way to coordinate the relation between natural gas exploitation and eco-environment protection and achieve harmonious coexistence between man and nature is an important issue that must be considered under the exploitation of natural gas.The first part of the thesis reviewed the natural gas transmission project development, features of natural gas transmission project, eco-environment impact, progress of eco-environment impact assessment and the fragile eco-environment protection, then giving reasons for choosing "Study of the Eco-Environment Impact Assessment of Natural Gas Transmission Project and the Fragile Eco-Environment Protection" as the research subject and expliciting its significance and purpose.In the second part of this paper, the main evaluation methods used were described in detail. Clear the basic concept of fragile ecological environment and to introduce the relevant basic theory and detailed analysis the recent fragile ecological environmental status in China, northwest and Gansu province.According to the West-East Gas Pipeline Project (Gansu Section) environmental impact assessment project, the third part studied the West-East Gas Pipeline Project (Gansu Section) ecological environmental impact assessment. The overview of the West-East Gas Pipeline Project (Gansu Section) was introduced first. The current and forecasting eco-environmental influence was evaluated. Finally, according to the evaluate results, proposed environmental protection measures.The last part of the thesis analyzed and summarized all chapters of this research, put forward relevant suggestions and indicated defect in this research.The significance of this paper is the theory and methods of Chinese natural gas pipeline project environmental impact assessment was summed up, protection measures about fragile ecological environment was proposed after analyzing corresponding projects, research results has certain significance for similar projects and has a guiding role to the study of the fragile environmental protection.
