Abstract


Social values are the concepts of value relation between subject and object for a certain group to a kind of social phenomenon. it reflects their basic attitude of a certain social phenomenon based on their lifestyle and development. The social values plays a tremendous role as a means of adjusting the guiding thought of people’s behavior in people’s daily life since the society was founded.As a unified system, Society needs to its social members have a basic "consensus", people should hold the concepts and relatively consistent tendency for various existing problems in society. Nowadays, the mass media provide the "consensus" to the society members after missionaries and philosophers. Integrating chaotic information for audiences, providing people with an orderly and calm observation and analysis is the value of the mainstream media. The mainstream media became an invisible force, remodeled experience of daily life to arouse social reflection, achieved the purpose of enlightenment and constituted the "new power core" of contemporary society.Nowadays, with the rapid development of the economy and technology, dissemination and gain of information becomes more and more quickly, the role of media in the propagations of mainstream values are becoming more and more outstanding. Doing well in the spread of ideology, relates to the Party and state, Reform and economic and social development, and the stability of the country.
