Abstract


GMO safety management is the focus of many countries in thetransgenic technology.Because GMO is safe, not only about theintrinsic quality of the product, but also related to people’s lives andproperty.Therefore, only on the basis of guaranteed GMO safety, weare able to talk about the prospects and future development ofgenetically modified products, in order to perceive the greatsignificance of the GMO safety management system. So, as animportant part of the GMO safety management, the importance oftraceability management and identification system comes up.The first account of the paper is background,and then describe itstransgenic technology and its development.Secondly, through theanalysis of the difference between the GMO security expert opinionand public feeling, introduce genetically modified concept of safetymanagement, compare and analysis the similarities and differencesbetween domestic and international general management of GMOsafety.Finally, traceability management as the safety management ofthe sparrow to anatomy, more in-depth analysis of the management ofGMO traceability, not only expounds the major countries of theworld’s attitudes and regulations, but efforts in traceability technology,traceability system, management and other aspects of the pros andcons of trying to point out the problem, risk aversion, and practicalsuggestions for the development of our country in this field.This article is divided into four areas:The first part describes theconcept of gene technology, development status and prospects ofapplication；The second part explains the necessity of the safetymanagement of genetically modified products;The third parttraceability and identity management of existing technologies thedevelopment of and system to improve the situation;The fourth partof the analysis of the pros and cons, identify problems, proposetargeted recommendations.
