Through researching the theory about tobacco transplanting mechanism, this article aims at the most important core working parts, for the purpose of optimizing design, and using supplementary analysis as method. On the basis of mathematical model which establish for mechanism, using Visual Basic6.0program named computer supplementary analysis and design software to find the way to analyze mechanism and devise mechanism. It also passes verifying experiments and the simulation software to prove the effectiveness and reliability of this software. This paper’s research content and conclusion are as follows:(1) On the current situation of domestic and foreign plant institutions, the problems about transplanting mechanism and the research method and routes anout this paper were proposed. This paper also studies the computer aided technology research on the mechanism of function and meaning(2)A model is established about crank connectinglink of transplanting mechanism on the basis of dynamic analysis and kinematics analysis, and it also lays foundation for further analysis. Displacement analysis of kinematics uses analytic method, which makes the process more intuitive, simplicity and convenient. Moreover, speed and acceleration can directly show by displacement equations, it makes the result more accurate and the precision higher.(3)Through comparative analysis of visualization platform choice and the applying characteristics of VB in all kinds of software development program, it proves to be the practicality of VB research. According to the kinematics model authoring software by automatically drawing trajectory and simulation of double crank transplanting mechanism.(4)On the basis of VB program many kinds of mechanism data could be obtained, the curve track changes could be studied, and the virtual model test also could proceed. According to the characteristics of established institutions proe model, motioning simulation analysis and contrast can begun, it proves the reliability of the characteristic curve which were sought out by VB. At last, combining with constraints, virtual test and optimizing targets, a group of optimal parameters could be came out:L1=36mm、L2=123mm、L3=94mm、L4=59mm、L5=218mm、 L6=93mm、L7=341mm、L8=128mm、ω=60r/min、α1=289°、α4=288°、α9=150°, track height is230.808mm, depth of planting is100mm, row spacing is503.04mm, hole width mouth is38.525mm.
