Alfalfa is one of the high-yield and high quality proteide feed. All the time, the production process of pasture is simple, the level of mechanization is low, and most part of the harvest process on the weather, which causes high loss of dry matter and low content of nutrition constituent in the field during the process of forage harvesting. However, the development and application of pasture harvesting technology and corresponding equipments will solve the problem. The parameters range of influence factors of pasture quality is different because of different kinds of pasture. In the paper, the author studied the gathering and storage technics and equipments of Alfalfa.Its application in lucerne was studied. Depending on wet pasture harvesting technics, while hot wind temperature is47℃and its constant speed is0.8m/s, author studied the parameter range of influential factors which affect the drying, harvest loss and quality of Alfalfa. And then provides theory evidence for the development of the gathering and storage equipments of Alfalfa.Studied the traditional handicraft and wetprocess harvest technics. Analyzed each parameter and harvest theory of the traditional harvest equipment and new handicraft harvest equipment.By studying the principal factors of alfalfa nutrition loss before and after storage, it was confirmed that the moisture content of bulk pasture and bale is below17%before storage.By studying the out-of-step problem of natural drying of alfalfa stems and leaves, chose Alfalfa harvesting machine.By the dry process of Alfalfa, according to moisture content changing speed, confirmed the reasonable partition drying method and drying equipment.By studying the influential factors of the harvest equipment’s to the dry matter loss of alfalfa, confirmed the reasonable harvest time of the harvest equipment.Researched the mating test of the harvest technics and equipment, analyzed the change factor of Alfalfa’s nutrition quality and optimized the Alfalfa production technics.
