Abstract


The process of hot-dip galvanizing , zinc liquid immersed in the corrosion of iron - based device is very serious to find a good resistance to zinc corrosion properties of materials , we must first understand the corrosion mechanism of iron in liquid zinc . Through experimental methods to study the corrosion is difficult to see the evolution of the entire corrosion , also extended the test cycle . Test and computer simulation , computer visualization of the corrosion process , which has great significance for the study of the corrosion mechanism . Corrosion experiments showed that the corrosion process of iron in liquid zinc matrix of iron dissolved in the liquid zinc plays a dominant role in the corrosion of iron / zinc liquid process is a process of growth and shedding , on the one hand, the δ phase ζ meet rupture off or dissolved ; on the other hand are still growing phase layer . Final growth and shedding to achieve a balance the transition layer gradually advancing to within the matrix , the continuity of the corrosion process . The experimental and simulation results to verify the beginning of the corrosion ζ phase the first generation, and order of the formation of the three-phase ζ phase -δ phase -Г phase . Experimental data as a basis , the use of cellular automata method for computer simulation of liquid zinc corrosion process . In the simulation process , the proposed of a collision walks rules , combined with the liquid metal corrosion theory to establish the corrosion of iron / zinc liquid cellular automata model . The simulation results show that the the intuitive image morphology or phase layer trend , phase layer growth kinetics are more consistent with the existing theoretical and experimental results , in order to verify the reasonableness of the model .
