Abstract
|
EPDM rubber because of its excellent heat weathering performance, can be used as the insulating material of the solid rocket motor instead universal a nitrile / asbestos system insulation material . The purpose of this experiment is that under low temperature conditions so that the liquid EPDM rubber curing , it has certain mechanical properties of the insulating material of the form of a brush material in the future as a solid rocket motor . Radical emulsion polymerization method , the experimental study , ethylene-propylene rubber in the unsaturated double bonds crosslinking and grafting modification of maleic anhydride grafted EPDM crosslinking studies double bond and the role of hydrogen on the methine carbon crosslinked . Free radical crosslinking process parameters temperature , reaction time and amount of crosslinking agent on the role of law EPDM radical crosslinking and crosslinking rate characterization of the degree of crosslinking of liquid ethylene propylene rubber . In the maleic anhydride-grafted EPDM crosslinking experiments , research parameters the amount of maleic anhydride , the amount of the oxidizing agent and the graft - maleic anhydride chloride the influence of the degree of curing . Experiments using the infrared characterization of the variation of the ethylene-propylene rubber molecular chain group , and use the peel strength of the characterization of the mechanical properties of its cured improve .
