Abstract


Currently, the car has entered People’s Daily life as a role in people’s personal transportation, and the sedan is recognized as the highest standard for automobile designers, to make the automobile design more pleasant and comfortable, it has become one of the benchmarks of car design, therefore, the requirements of car appearance has gradually improved, a new way of thinking has become inevitable.For automotive design, the birth of the new models that the whole word each year is not mentioned in the same breath with the millions of biological species. However, the design emerge constantly which people obtain inspiration and comprehend by analogy from the nature, some car style even becomes classics. It seems now that many new cars modeling elements from the animal, and this kind of situation has been already more and more general. Particularly with the advent of the time emotional consumption, the spreading extensively of ideas such as ecological environmental protection, return to nature, bionic car shape-designing become an important method to car design innovation more and more. Bionic design is very hot and influential in the field of car modeling, the bionic car modeling is from the nature but higher than the nature.This paper is a target for further research. It firstly introduces the background of the topics, and described the purpose and significance, the situation and development tendency of car appearance bionics design is also mentioned. Then the papers refer to the knowledge of bionic design theory; The car was summarized in shape and appearance of bionics design, visual, structure and function of the material aspects of biomimetic form. Next, the paper introduces the design content; the appearance of cars, Through designing examples and summarized the development of car appearance design features and design method.A combination of the content, summarizes the design methods about bionics design of cars, car appearance design of bionics design principle, the preliminary evaluation system. Practice is the choice for part of the prototype rabbit bionic design, including the family car market analysis for imitation and positioning, and presents the design scheme and verify the practical, beautiful and smooth etc. Finally, points out the summary is full of papers and deficiency, and put forward the prospects for subsequent research work.
