Objective: from the treatment of neck fractures of the humerus surgery in the choicein the current fixed method with extensive clinical application of locking plates in theclinical observation and research, and to sum up the in the treatment of advantages anddisadvantages, so as to when the clinical treatment of internal fixation of the choice toprovide help. Methods: sep2009to October2011,35patients proximal humeral lockingplate in surgical treatment of patients with fracture of the humerus neck, age24to88years,on average,61years old, male13cases, female22cases, left17cases, right18cases).5cases of sports injury,16cases of traffic injury,14cases of fall; Neer points according tothe type method, Neer Ⅱ fractures in15cases, Neer Ⅲ fracture20cases. All35caseswere open reduction by operation proximal humeral locking plate fixation treatment, earlypostoperative guide patient exercise shoulder function, after nine months of patients withNeer scoring system to after the evaluation of surgical treatment effect. Results: allpatients were obtained for35cases were followed up6~20months time, the averagefollow-up period was9.5months. All osseous healing fracture, healing time for4~10weeks, and the average six weeks. The cases were no wound infection, nerve damage, steelplate fracture and blood vessels screw loose, cut out, the head of the humerus necrosiscomplications. According to Neer rating system after fractures curative effect evaluation,joint function was94.29%. Conclusion: the proximal humeral locking plate for disruptionto provide early stability, reduce the destruction of the local blood supply, beneficial to theearly functional exercise and restore function, is the treatment of humerus surgical neckfracture of a kind of effective method.
