Abstract


Since the New Age, the evaluation and interpretation of Xiao Hong gradually increased. Many researchers evaluate and study the literature of Xiao Hong from different angles and positions .Xiao Hong’s image becomes rich and diverse .The paper studies on the evaluation and interpretation of Xiao Hong since the New Age, analyzing these Xiao Hong’s images and exploring the topic .“The Reconstruction of Xiao Hong’s image”. Re-evaluation of Xiao Hong’s research in the past could restore Xiao Hong’s image as much as possible, grasping the inherent basis of the reconstruction of Xiao Hong’s image and the situations in literary history and intellectual and cultural history.In this thesis, research methods about the text interpretation and application of of literary history are applied. For relative centralism of thesis, it selects representative and typical works to inspect the evolution of Xiao Hong’s image. This paper is divided into three parts to study the reconstruction of the image of Xiao Hong in accordance with the time evolution.The first chapter mainly studies the evolution from single to multiplication of Xiao Hong’s images, focusing on the literary history of the beginning of new era and the eighties and intellectual and cultural history. By studying the sorts of evaluation about Xiao Hong in the history of modern literature since the beginning of the new age, Xiao Hong is found as a "left-wing writer" image in the history of literature. It discusses the inherent basis about the formation of Xiao Hong "left-wing writers" image, and contrasts Xiao Hong’s image before and after the new age. By analyzing gradually diversified characteristics of the Xiao Hong’s images, emphasizes the transformed process from the "left-wing writers" image to Xiao Hong’s feminine image, including the image in the first biography of Xiao Hong and the image in feminist criticism field.The second chapter mainly dicusses the reconstruction of Xiao Hong’s individual image in the nineties ,including Xiao Hong’s author image and Xiao Hong’s feminine image. That Xiao Hong’s image as a "talented" writer is emphasized in the literary history shows Xiao Hong’s individual characteristics. In the field of Female Literature research, there are a variety of interpretation about Xiao Hong’s feminine image.The third one studies the reconstruction of Xiao Hong’s "folk" and "civilian" image since the new century. In the period,the research about Xiao Hong becomes deeply. Interpreting Xiao Hong by writing biograpy for Xiao Hong is an important way to reshape Xiao Hong on cultural context. Xiao Hong’s image from the folk and civilians with daily feature make the reconstruction in this period more diversified.Although research of Xiao Hong and her works is numerous,it is rare to describe the reconstruction of Xiao Hong’s image. The paper discusses the evolution of Xiao Hong’s image since the new age, and thus makes some contributed work about the significance of Xiao Hong in vision of literature history and cultural context.
